We have one of the largest Muslim communities in the USA. We regularly eat at some of some best places around here.
They see all that others see (TV, etc.) Most are good neighbors. You can, usually, spot the aholes and all the FBI "lookers."
Kathy, out of respect, throws a shawl over her head when we dine at some of these places.
We had a "solid," white, businessman arrested here recently for child abuse and child porn. There's really goofy stuff around. IMHO, most folks are good folks - nobody is an angel, some are just plain, nasty aholes.
