A single seater light plane crashed at SBH about 30-45 minutes ago. Pilot is fine, although not happy about the state of his plane. It looks like things could be cleared up quickly although I have no idea how long these things take. Happy nobody was injured.

Planes are taking off and landing again. The airport looks very busy.

Holy cow..we just drove back from birthday shopping in Gustavia about an hour ago and did not see it. Hope everyone was ok!

Happy birthday DD or Davesmom. This is the best place to celebrate anything. IMHO.

So glad that the pilot was ok. Still, a frightening event.

Happy birthday, Gina! So happy that you guys are back in your favorite paradise, especially for your birthday. I hope you had a wonderful shopping spree today…I’m sure you made up for lost time shopping on St. Barth! I recall you needing to purchase another suit case one year to get all your goodies home…LOL! You go girl!

Please correct me if I am posting inaccurate info. I remember, before they lengthened the runway, we would be lounging on the beach and heard a Poof. A plane with its nose in the beach at St. Jean. Just happened once. Help? My memories could be a St. Barth induced haze from all the wonderful food and drink.
